Rock ‘n’ Roll & Global Running Day

Rock 'n' Roll (2021)

My first marathon was a Rock ‘n’ Roll® race. Phoenix in 2008. I completed that race and DNF’d it in 2009, I’ve done the Vegas race (morning and night) and the San Antonio one. And even though I haven’t followed the Rock ‘n’ Roll circuit as much lately, I still have a soft spot in my heart for the series as it’s where I got my official start in long distance races. I’ve done a lot of them and the biggest race in my city (well, pre-COVID) was the RnR Vegas. (Which I would do over and over if it was more affordable and a little easier to get to for locals. If you’re visiting and staying on The Strip, you’re gold come race day. But trying to get there on race day if you live in town, it’s kind of a mess.)

In celebration of Global Running Day on Wednesday, June 2, the Rock ‘n’ Roll® Running Series will host a 24-hour sale offering the best prices of the year on event registrations.

The Humana Rock ‘n’ Roll® Virtual Running Club™ (VRC™), will join the celebration by offering the Global Running Day Challenge, a 10K (6.2-miles) that will be available to the global community of runners on June 2.

Details will be available on May 31 (which is when this is posting… just sayin’).

The exclusive single-day discounts will be available beginning Wednesday, June 2 at 12:00 a.m. PT (3:00 a.m. ET) by visiting, www.runrocknroll.com/global-running-day.
