Workout at Home: Down Dog Edition

I don’t really take any pleasure in sharing this news. The Coronavirus/COVID-19 situation in the world is starting to feel really scary. Far more so than laughing about people hoarding toilet paper.

But the Down Dog family of apps are all free to download until April 1, 2020. They have 5 total apps, 2 for yoga and then their 3 newest ones for Barre, HIIT, and 7-minute workout.

From the email announcement I received from the company:

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, many people are avoiding gathering in large groups, including at yoga studios and other fitness spaces. We believe that stressful times like these are precisely when people need wellness practices the most, and we are committed to doing our part to help out.

So that anyone who wants to practice at home can do so, we are making all of our apps – Down Dog, Yoga for Beginners, HIIT, Barre, and 7 Minute Workout – completely free until April 1st.

People need other people (we are social mammals), but right now it’s probably wise to not gather in large groups. At least you can get a few new exercise apps to tide you over in the interim.

I get nothing from this post. I feel like I need to make that crystal clear even more so than ever. I am just sharing this information because I had downloaded the 3 new apps at the beginning of the year and had every intention of sharing a review of those, but never got around to it before this announcement.
