I’m in the September 2011 issue of Runners’ World magazine. Â I’m one of the experts in the “Ask the Experts” column.
I didn’t know it had come out, but one of my runners from the 2010 Napa season of Team Challenge texted me while I was in Mammoth, “Oh my goodness! You’re famous! I just saw your advice in runners world. I was so excited to see that!”
I was super eager to get home to my copy so I could see it myself!
I was mentioned in the December 2008 issue as well, but this one is even more exciting to me!

OMG I saw this and was so excited I almost fell off the Elliptical. I was like “I know her” outloud and then became THAT girl at the gym who talks to herself!!! But seriously, so so so cool!!!!!!!
AWWWWW, YEEEEEAH!! That’s super awesome!! That is so super cool. Might I add that I am just a *wee* jealous! I would be singing from the mountain tops! In last month’s Self Magazine, they printed a Tweet I wrote in response to a particular magazine article. I hadn’t even seen it but random people were Tweeting me about it. As soon as I saw it in print, I was like, “Well hot dang! I’m in print!” 🙂 Very excited for you and CONGRATULATIONS!

what! how cool!!!! i’m glad you alerted me… i am still on like oct 2010 😉 i don’t quite keep up with my RW mags when they come. i will be sure to save this one! i was in one once too… i still don’t know how the writer found me, but it was cool to be famous.

I would love that, but not unless they send me more reader questions to answer. I think they try to spread the love around on that feature. Looking to different databases of certified coaches and publishing the best answers.
