I’m part of the Influenster program and I was kind of excited when I was selected to receive a new BB cream from a major brand. If you’re unaware (although, I probably had to have been the last person on earth to learn about these) BB stands for “beauty balm” and they are kind of all over the place lately. I’m pretty sure every brand has their own version now. This was to receive the new Pond’s Luminous Finish BB Cream.

So my package was supposed to arrive sometime at the beginning of July or something like that. And everyone that was accepted in the program was supposed to make a video about using the product and then there was a chance to end up the show Entertainment Tonight. I wasn’t sure how I felt about that, because Entertainment Tonight is basically tabloid TV, right? I wanted to test a product that was supposed to make feeling pretty easier.

Well, it didn’t matter. The deadline for when Influenster testers were supposed to have their videos done came and went without a package arriving for me. I figured I was just going to miss out. So I was surprised when I received a good-sized box in the mail and it contained the BB cream inside. Not just a small box with the cream inside, but instead it came in a bright pink box with a mirror on the front. FedEx must have taken the REALLY long way to my house.

And even though I missed the deadline to do their little contest, I thought I’d write about the product a little bit on my blog. I figure it’s the least I could do since I received a free product!

They sent me 6 tubes of product! Two of them were tucked inside the pink box, one of the light shade and one of the medium, so I could find the shade that worked for me. (Light, in case you were curious.)

Prior to receiving this I was using the Garnier BB cream. But I like this one a lot better. It just seems to smooth on better, easier, less greasy. Because I’m sooooo much of a makeup expert! LOL. Actually, maybe that makes my testimonial better. Since I am so uninformed about makeup and I can actually use this without making myself look stupid. (Which is what would happen if I tried to follow a majority of YouTube videos about makeup application!)

They also included a couple more of each shade all packaged up and ready for me to give to someone. So I need to figure out what to do with them. Anyone want a tube? I guess the first 4 people to chime in with the shade they think they want/need I could send you one! (That’s 2 people claiming the medium shade and 2 claiming the light shade, just FYI…)
