When I put the baby in swimming classes earlier this year, I had to get in the pool with her. (What?! Just toss her in and I’m going out for lunch!) I hadn’t bought a new swim suit in a few years, but I pulled one on and got in the pool. I immediately thought I needed a more mom-friendly swim suit.
Well, I’ve come to the conclusion that the only truly “mom-friendly” swim suit for me right now would be a turtleneck suit, just because my baby clings to the neckline of whatever I’m wearing. And that’s not going to happen.
But I did still get a new suit. Free Country gave me a new suite and I wore it while swimming with the bebe last month as well as for the 3 minutes we spent in the pool on vacation before total-baby-meltdown occurred.

They have really great prices, you can mix/match tops and bottoms to build your own suit and a lot of their styles mimic styles found in other athletically-minded clothing catalogs.
In addition to the bathing suits, they sell a lot of winter sport gear. Right now they are having a summer sale on winter gear. You can get $200 coats for around $50!
I’d never heard of them before they contacted me, but I’m impressed with the quality and affordability!
I have a soft shell made by Free Country that I picked up at Marshall’s a few years ago. Absolutely love it. Keeps out the wind and decent warmth, too.
