Us runners with all of our shoes… we’re a cuckoo bunch, right? I currently have 3 pairs of running shoes in rotation (well, 4 if you count my trail shoes that are TRASHED and need to be replaced) and have at least 4 pairs that are retired, just occupying space in my closet. In the past I’ve waited until the RnR expo came to town and took a bag full of shoes to recycle, because there always seems to be a company at the expo that is taking old shoes.
