Last week started off great:

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday we had beautiful mornings! They were a little humid for Las Vegas, but the overnight lows were in the low 70’s, so I made certain to get out in that weather!
- Monday: 2.4 miles
- Tuesday: 2.21 miles
- Wednesday: 2.26 miles
All of these were done as run/walk intervals of 1/4. I felt pretty good with that effort.
But Wednesday evening rolled around and EVERY… SINGLE… JOINT in my body started to ache. Crack, pop, ache. So I didn’t do any more running or walking the rest of the week.
I had every intention of going out for a walk on Sunday morning, since we were in Utah and the temps should have been more manageable. But after eating breakfast that morning, the sun came out and it just felt kind of intense and humid (rain storms the night before) so I didn’t go out for any miles.
Still, it was all good, it adds up to about what my weekly averages have been the past few weeks.
I don’t think I’m going to get outside for any walking/running this week though. None of the overnight lows seem particularly inviting. I’ve discovered a correlation between temps over 80° and Jade The Boxer having diarrhea while we’re out. I don’t like trying to clean that up off the sidewalk, so I’m not taking her out for exercise in that weather anymore. We can play ball in the house or do send her up and down the stairs for some sprints for exercise. And if my joints keep feeling crummy like this, I don’t know whether moving or resting are better options. Who knows… guess we’ll just see how it plays out.
