I’m a fan of Saucony‘s last campagin: Find Your Strong
It is encouraging and doesn’t try to slot all of us into the same mold, it encourages us to be individuals and find our own individual STRONG. I love that! The definition of my strong may be different from your strong. (My personal strong is different right now than it was just 7 months ago due to my current pregnancy and I’m sure 7 months from now it will be yet another form.)
Now Saucony wants you to think about your own strong and who inspires you to run. And by doing so you could win your very own pair of trail, track, or road shoes!
Here’s how to enter:
- Enter the contest on Saucony’s site by answering the question in the weekly theme.
6/20-6/26 is “My trophies or medals - Come back to this post and LEAVE A COMMENT telling me what Saucony apparel or shoes you would like. (or if you already have Saucony, what do you already love?)
The details:
- One reader will win a pair of trail, track, or road shoes
- Open to US Residents Only
After June 26 I will select the winner and contact that person. That person will have 5 days to respond so I can get their information to Saucony.
I am participating in this campaign in cooperation with Saucony. My main reasons for doing so are: I like the campaign, I like the Saucony folks and I like being able to give my readers something from time-to-time!
I’m disappointed that it’s not open to your European followers! Sniff.
😦 I’m sorry… That was Saucony’s condition. But I appreciate my European followers!
I ❤ MY KINVARAS!!!!! They're about to die, so I could definitely use a new pair. I've been running in Sauconys for the past few years. Started with the Guide, then moved on to the Mirage (love the cushion and the light stability but hate how the tongue shifts on my right foot and makes my ankle sore), and am now running in the Kinvara 2. I have a wide forefoot and a narrow ankle and Sauconys fit juuuuuust right.
I submitted a photo my mom took at the end of my first marathon that inspired her to start running again (the theme on the Saucony site was show us your trophies and medals). It's pretty timely since just yesterday, I learned that my grandmother is suffering from vascular dementia (she's had dementia for a while, I just didn't know what type of dementia it was), which is caused by years of uncontrolled cholesterol and high blood pressure. Staying active has always been important to me, but knowing that getting my mom out there can prevent me from having to go through what she's been going through just lit that fire anew!
I entered this week, the theme was medals and awards so I uploaded a picture from a 5K which gives out medals, quite a RARE thing! I’m just getting into trail running so I’d love a pair of Women’s Peregrine 2!

I entered the Saucony “Find Your Strong” on their website, and like both Anna and Jenna said, it was a medals and awards theme. I submitted a picture from when I ran the Country Music Half Marathon and PR’d by 15 minutes.
I have multiple saucony tops but would LOVE a pair of Saucony shoes. I would prefer a pair of trial or road shoes 🙂
BTW Great blog! I’ve been reading you for awhile and enjoy reading so keep it up 🙂
My Saucony running tights are my absolute favorite!
I don’t have much Saucony gear, but have been oogling some new capris. The only Saucony shoes I’ve had were too barefoot for me and lead to injuries, but they got passed onto a friend who loves them 🙂 As for my strong, it’s been a big test lately to decide that I need to start all over from scratch and really work for what I want from running. Even just realizing this needed more strength than I was willing to admit.
I entered the contest only being able to show part of my accomplishment since I quit my smoking habit 5 yrs ago. I also ran for Team Challenge/Boston and my husband made me a shadow box filled with all the paraphernalia including the medal and wrist bands. I’ve added trail running for places to stretch out my legs and will start training for my first ultra for next year (50mi by 50) after I run NYC marathon in the fall. I’ve spoken to other trail runners and done some research and have discovered the Peregrine 2 is a good trail running shoe, especially for single/technical trails
