Today I went to the expo for the Zappos Rock and Roll Las Vegas Marathon & Half Marathon. (Yeah, I went with the full name… I think I got it all in the right order. It’s a mouthful!)

I picked up Stephanie from Run for Fun and her husband at their hotel and took them to the expo. I dropped them off in front of the Sands Expo Center (her hubby is on crutches… read her blog to learn more about this unfortunate incident!) And then I drove around to park and headed into the expo.

I didn’t have a packet to pickup (I’ll get my coach bib and bag tomorrow morning at our staff meeting) so I was just going to see people, the social aspect! I met up with a bunch of people I know from Twitter:

I met Joey from Fit Vegas Foodie too! This is going to be her first half marathon! Go Joey Go!

I saw a bunch of my Team Challenge members, several of them were even working at the Team Challenge booth:

I got a sample of grape tomatoes from NatureSweet Sunbursts Tomatoes:

YUM! I love tomatoes!

And I got to meet Marshall Ulrich!

His running accomplishments alone amaze me, but his relationship with his wife Heather is inspiring too. (I met her too!) Seriously, read his book!

The company Cheribundi was there… I reviewed them on the site a while ago, but they have new flavors now! A cocoa and a ginger flavor. They didn’t have samples of the ginger flavor, but the cherry-cocoa flavor was good!

Tomorrow is going to be a full day… gotta try to get some rest!
