Can I just tell you… getting a house ready to be listed as a rental takes some hard work! Little things that we’d learned to look past over the years (like a halfway painted closet door or a broken trellis) all needed to be fixed. Due to this, my workouts didn’t go quite as planned this week.
- Monday: Yoga
- Tuesday: Run
- Wednesday:
BudokonWork late after I spent several hours at the rental overseeing carpet cleaners & house cleaners. - Thursday: Speedwork
- Friday:
Tai ChiAgain, work late due to getting baseboards and tub caulking fixed at the rental - Saturday: Run
- Sunday:
RunCuddle with Jade The Boxer
But it all worked out… the house is listed. Now I just need some tenants! I don’t know that we’re putting it on the market at the exact right time either… heading into the holidays. But we’ll cross our fingers and hope that we get some kind of action.
It’s a little strange, going through the house all emptied out. As irritated as I got at the house at times, it was home for 6 years. And we did a lot of work on it… even if there was still a list of things that we would have done if we stayed there for a long time. But here are a few highlights of transformations:
Now… the plan for this week…
- Monday: Yoga
- Tuesday: Run
- Wednesday: Budokon (try again?) or Kickbox
- Thursday: Speedwork
- Friday: something mellow
- Saturday: Run
- Sunday: Run
the flooring was a huge change!! i noticed no master bath photos… 😉 good luck finding renters!
Keen eye! I did do one master bath remodel before I moved out… we plugged the holes in the wall that the previous owners had created! Yes, we lived with two inch-sized holes in the wall for 6 years and just ignored them!
