I received a box from Influenster in the mail the other day and it had a bottle each of Dove Daily Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner. It’s always fun to get a surprise freebie in the mail, one of the perks of having a blog for so long.*

The products are specifically meant for normal to dry hair. Living in the desert, it’s hard to not have dry hair, dry skin, dry eyes… it’s just dry here. In fact, when I think it’s humid out, it’s usually because the humidity has gotten up to around 30-40% humidity and I know there are many places that would think that was a pretty dry day!

Anyway, I’ve been trying to use more “natural” hair care products the past year. I don’t know why, I have no idea if we really absorb bad stuff through our skin from this or what. But I will admit, that I’ve changed my brands of shampoo/conditioner every time I’ve finished a bottle and a few times midway through a bottle because I disliked it so much.

This is not in that “natural” category, but I really love how many hair feels when I use it. It claims to make your hair “10x more resilient to daily damage from grooming” and make your hair smooth, soft, and manageable. I don’t know about the resiliency part, as I’ve only used it once so far. But I would definitely say it’s smooth, soft, and manageable. As manageable as it can be for someone who is fairly inept with hair. (me)
