Zim’s Products

Zim’s was founded more than 60 years ago with just one product – Zim’s crack creme. Zim’s crack creme was originally developed by a pharmacist for cement workers with dry cracked hands and feet. Since that time Zim’s has grown into an extensive line of remedies that offer better living for pain relief, skin care, lip care, diabetic living and first aid – all formulated with naturally-based herbal ingredients.

I was sent the Zim’s Crack Creme Creamy Daytime lotion as well as Zim’s Max-Freeze gel.

The lotion: using aloe vera and arnica, this daytime moisturizer is supposed to moisturize dry skin on hands, feet, elbows, etc. It has a pleasant herbal scent. I found that at times it seemed to separate and I got a watery substance out of the tube, but if I shook it first all seemed good. It’s just that I don’t remember to shake a tube of lotion before I flip it open, so I’ve spilled it all over several times. Ooops… They have a night version that is a complementary product to this one.

Zim's Crack Creme

The gel: uses natural ingredients of aloe, arnica, vitamin E and tea tree oil, this is designed to provide a cooling sensation for achy joints and muscles. Wow… I really liked this stuff! I did find that it had a strong menthol and rubbing alcohol scent initially, that lasted about 15 minutes after application before it faded. The cooling sensation is awesome and felt great when I rubbed it into my knees after a long run. I’ve had a bit of a knot in my right glute lately and I rubbed some of the gel into that spot. It definitely helped, but it’s weird to have your butt cheek cooled down!

Zim's Max-Freeze gel

The Zim’s products can be found in nearly every major retailer in North America including: Walmart, Albertson’s , Walgreens, Kroger’s, Kmart, Target and more. If you Like Zim’s on Facebook you can get a coupon for $2 off any Zim’s product.
