  1. Yikes! That’s intense, but part of spring running in a lot of places. At least it’s not raining too! The 2nd part of my run yesterday I ended up heading into a 20mph headwind w/rain – could barely breathe! Yes, better to wait for the calm after the storm 🙂

    • Yeah, rain and wind would make it hard! When we get these kinds of winds (60+ mph gusts) it really kicks up a lot of dust/dirt in the air since the desert is so dry. It’s definitely hard to breathe in that mess! Good job pushing through on your run!

  2. HAHAHA!! That was pretty funny. 🙂

It looks tamer than it actually was. We have tons of broken tree branches and my house sounded like it was going to blow away last night. I am SO over this. And worse, I’ve picked up the new title of “allergy sufferer,” a group I’d managed to avoid most of my life. 😦

Here’s to sunny days. Hell, I’ll take 120 degrees over wind any day.

  3. Looked like a normal day here in Colorado! No really, I’ve heard a lot about the Vegas winds. I’ve ran the LV half marathon once in 2007 and the full in 08 & 09. The only thing you have to worry about is the wind. Maybe that’s why the race starts so dog gone early!
