Going Places Award

Last week Jillian over at Finishing is Winning passed along the “Going Places Award” to me. I didn’t have a chance to follow-up on that immediately. So while I’m waiting to get some pictures to go along with my Napa-to-Sonoma recap, I figured I’d bang this one out.

The problem is that you’re supposed to say where you hope to be in 10 years…
truthfully, that’s a really hard one for me to answer!

So, in no particular order…

In 10 years:
– I want to be alive.
– I want to be healthy.
– I want to be happy.
– I want to spend time with my friends and family.
– I want to be running.
– I want a big rack.
– I want to speak Japanese better.
– I want to have done more marathons.
– I want a family, whatever form this family comes in (i.e. just the two of us, biological children, adopted children, a dog, etc.)
– I want to be RECOVERED.

Did you notice the completely sarcastic one I slipped in there? I’ll give you a hint… it fell between running and Japanese!

And like usual… I’m being a snooty blogger and failing to pass this on to others. But all of you who are regular commenters (you know who you are) would be on my list. And if you are a regular lurker… well, hey! You can be on the list too! De-lurk and leave a comment sometimes!

Where do you hope to be in 10 years?

  1. I want my daughter to be happy, healthy, and most definitely alive. I wouldn’t mind having my little tiny rack back, though.
