October's Seasonal Flavor: RedRum

My friends own Retro Bakery here in Las Vegas, quite literally the best cupcake shop in town. And tomorrow, they are hosting a fundraising event for me. I’m so excited! 15% of sales are going to be donated to my Team In Training fundraising and we’ll also have some buckets out for people to contribute cash donations as well.

I used to be HARD CORE fanatical about eating only healthy food, but their cupcakes have shown me the light… it’s okay to indulge every now and then. Plus, what fun is all the running if you don’t allow yourself a little leeway sometimes, right?

And for those of you who don’t live in Las Vegas, may I suggest that on your next trip to the city you make it a point to stop by Retro Bakery and sample some of their goodies… maybe at the same time as the Las Vegas Marathon?

I’ve only been to Vegas once, but I’ve never seen a cupcake I didn’t ‘fall in love with.

MizFit: Even if you couldn’t come for my day, come on out next time you’re in Vegas. Seriously, you won’t be disappointed.

Terri: I wish I could have given you a cupcake at the end of your marathon this weekend, but it sounds like you had plenty of sweets with the Oreos and giant cookie!
